Gardenfloor

Description Gardenfloor

Gardenfloor is a recycled rubber granule flooring able to absorbing impact energy. It is proposed in self-laying plates, with plastic "H" connection joints, as an ideal solution for areas requiring uniform, non-slip surfaces and/or requiring shock absorption. It is versatile and modular product, which can be installed directly on the ground or on a pre-existing, even uneven surface (lawn, sand, clay and cement).

Gardenfloor consists entirely of recycled material (rubber), which is in turn recyclable, so it is an eco-compatible product. The tiles from which it is composed are available in red or green and size of 1000 x 500 mm, then there are different possible thicknesses that allow various applications, the standard one is 30 mm, but others are possible on request.

Gardenfloor can be layed both in interior flooring (sports centers, greenhouses, laundries, saunas, cellars, exhibition stands and public baths), and in outdoor flooring (verandas, swimming pools, bathing establishments, playgrounds, parks and ecological pitches), and as a finishing for external installations (pergolas and gazebos).

Notes for the installation of Gardenfloor flooring, 1000x500 mm

Gardenfloor impact absorption rubber plates can be layed on different types of ground: sand, topsoil, lawn, gravel, stabilized ground, concrete, asphalt, etc.

Essential requirement for all the soils is that they are sufficiently compact and leveled, without the presence of sensitive depressions.

During the lay it is preferable to provide, where possible, the installation of the tiles in the ground in order to obtain a single floor between the rubber flooring and the surrounding ground, so as not to create a step. Alternatively, a containment curb can be laid outside the pavement area to highlight it.

The possibilities of laying depend on the type of ground.

Installation Gardenfloor

    Positioning

The Gardenfloor impact absorption tiles have 12 joints for the "H" plastic joints in the 1000x500 mm size, which allow the installer to realize different patterns during the laying phase.

    Regular assembly 1000x500 mm size

Offset mounting, 1000x500 mm size - Recommended

    Assembly with plastic joints
  • 1. Given that the ground must be previously compacted and leveled, the first decision is concerning the pattern to be created
  • 2. Take the tile and insert the plastic "H" joint into the appropriate seat, if necessary it is possible to glue with a single-component polyurethane glue
  • 3. The second tile is approached and the end of the "H" joint is positioned in the reference seat
  • 4. Continue with the other tiles until the installation is complete
  • Note: 4 plastic joints in the long side, for the 1000x500 mm size, and 2 plastic joints in the short side are sufficient for laying, bearing in mind that the weight of each single tile guarantees stability over time.

Assembly with non-allergenic single-use polyurethane glue
  • 1. Take a spatula for glue for floor layer
  • 2. Open the bag containing the single-layer polyurethane glue and pour it into the appropriate container
  • 3. Take the Gardenfloor rubber tile with the surface where there is the pattern
  • 4. Using the spatula, remove the glue and spread it on the tile using the surfaces of the corners and the median outer part (see photo)
  • 5. Place the tile on the concrete or asphalt surface by pressing
  • 6. Continue following with the other tiles until the end of the work
  • Note: beforehand, the laying area must be carefully cleaned so as not to create a bearing layer (topsoil, sand, etc.) that would not allow the glue to be anchored correctly to the ground.
